Metafort is ideally located for road cyclists, mountain bikers, hikers, trailers and all those who love the outdoors: facing the legendary Mont Ventoux, a few kilometres from the Luberon or from the lavender fields of Sault, and in the heart of the Gorges de la Nesque.
There are countless routes starting from Metafort, via paths, wild trails or the more well trodden roads. As keen cyclists and trail runners, we will provide you all the information you need to prepare a personalised itinerary. A must-do is the loop around the Gorges de la Nesque \u2013 this is a world-class route accessible to all abilities.<\/p>\n

Our bike shop partner La Route du Ventoux<\/a> can offer our guests exclusive discounts for road or e-bike rentals, or for the maintenance of your own bike. Your bike can even be delivered to Metafort and we\u2019ll keep it safe for you.<\/p>\n

Hiking and Trail Running from Metafort <\/h2>\n

La Gacholle: is a picturesque path above Les Gorges de la Nesque with a view overlooking our Bed & Breakfast. Blauvac: stroll through the vines and forest and at the end enjoy an aperitif at La Calade, a panoramic restaurant. La Nesque: an out and back hike in the dried up bed of the river. <\/p>\n
